Celebrating 100 years of the Cooperative Program
Join us this year in highlighting the work of the Cooperative Program.
Consider Quarterly Emphases
Celebrate with your congregation the work they are helping accomplish in giving through the Cooperative Program. Consider a quarterly emphasis on the kingdom impact your church is making through the Cooperative Program.
Calendar Suggestions:
May
May 13, 1925 is the official launch date of the Cooperative Program after the culmination of the 75 million Campaign. Consider a time around this date to celebrate the work and history of the Cooperative Program.
Missions Emphasis Day
If your church already sets apart time to recognize missions of your church or Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) affiliated, consider incorporating a celebration of Cooperative Program and its role in contributing to the work of missions.
October
October is recognized on the SBC calendar as Cooperative Program emphasis month. Consider a Sunday in October for celebrating the work of the Cooperative Program.
Other
Select one other time appropriate on your church’s calendar for a time of celebration and recognition of the Cooperative Program.
Promotion Resources
The resources below are designed to help you promote the Cooperative Program and its 100th Anniversary at your church. A 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ bulletin insert is available in both color and black and white for you to download and print as many copies as you’d like. A collection of 52 slides is also available to use in worship and other settings. Each slide promotes a different ministry supported by Cooperative Program gifts and corresponds to the 2025 CP Desk Calendar.
To order a free copy of the desk calendar or for assistance with any of these resources, contact State Missionary Jay Stewart, [email protected].
