Cooperative Program Month

October is designated as Cooperative Program Month across the Southern Baptist Convention. Every Alabama Baptist church should draw attention to the Great Commission and Great Commission ministries supported through the Cooperative Program. Please pray for these ministries and for the hearts of the people who support the Cooperative Program.

There should also be significant prayer that gifts through the Cooperative Program would continue to increase. Without the Cooperative Program, Alabama Baptists and Southern Baptists would be just another group of folks unable to see beyond their own needs.

The Cooperative Program is the lifeline of missions work in Alabama and around the world. In order to raise awareness of the Cooperative Program in your congregation, please consider taking advantage of our free resources like power points, videos, and sermon outlines or having a state missionary come to your church to share about CP.

Hunger Funds are available to Southern Baptist missionaries to meet food-related needs such as assisting people with receiving food, buying food, growing food and/or using food properly.

For each dollar you give, a dollar goes out to feed the hungry. 25% goes to feed the hungry in Alabama while 75% is sent through the Global Hunger Fund.
